Recently, I visited a retail luggage store in a large suburban shopping centre to replace, yet again, my accident-prone luggage. As a professional speaker, I tend to travel a lot, which means my most commonly used suitcases rarely see their second birthday. I was approached by Valerie (not her real name) whose badge told me she was the store manager. Her friendliness and professional presentation could not be faulted.

The crew members on Viking Ingvar are a combination of Indonesians and Russians. We have never had a problem with any Viking River Cruises' crew, but the crew on Viking Ingvar stands out as the best we have experienced so far. Everyone with whom we came in contact was happy, smiling and pleasant.
Try looking at different hotel deals separate to history of luggage the flights as this could turn out cheaper in some cases when travelling abroad. However combining flights and hotels is the quicker easier way to look for a holiday if you are not looking for something specific.
If only she had remembered the value of listening - particularly in a sales context. I truly believe in investing in quality luggage. The last thing you want is to lose a wheel to your suitcase on the Metro in Paris, trust me. This happened to me the first time I went to Europe and I was lugging my wobbly suitcase, which felt like it weighed more than me, all around Paris until we got to the hotel. Paying a little more for your luggage could save you a headache in the long run.
If you do not already know some of the language of the country you will be visiting, it is always a good idea to try to learn a bit. This will make it easier for you to communicate while on your trip. If you don't have much time, there are simple, to the point language booklets which help tremendously.
